Imagine the potential for greater affordability and a higher quality of life in a place like Hawaii if it could build a fully functional metro light-rail system. I know they have a monorail that is being expanded, but in a very American style, it is grossly overcosted and has taken ages to build. In this sense, it should become more like Japan and less like Florida. It's not too late!
