If you support the Scalia / Trump version of the ESA you are directly and intentionally in favor of driving as many species as possible to extinction. Either you support science or you support greedy developers and destroying all remaining nature. It IS that stark.

What about if it's a niche species only found in one limited locale? With tens, hundreds or more sister species in that genus?
