The unelected and unappointed masses of administrators in the government are almost universally democrats, that is why they are not worried about Trump taking control of this kind of power. After all Trump was president for 4 years and demonstrated the complete lack of ability to weaponize the government against his political opponents.
Seriously? “And we already know that when the Disinformation Board falls into the hands of the people who believe in these lies, it will lose any chance of _correctly enforcing truth_.” (With that ending, how can you keep a straight face?) Is the standard what the ‘bien pensant’ think it is? Perhaps a case of the fish doesn’t know it’s swimming in water….
The point is that both sides of the aisle think the other side has no respect for the truth. So even if you think your side uses the Disinfo board right (which is naive in itself), once the other side gets elected they'll use it to substantiate all their lies.
